Paulo Mansur Raymundo is an Electronics Engineer, Manager and Head Hunter with 44 years of international experience in technology-based industries. He has lived and worked in 12 countries and conducted business in over 100. In 1980 he joined Schlumberger, the world’s leading supplier of technology and information solutions to the oil industry. Have held several engineering and managerial positions with Schlumberger Surenco, Schlumberger Trinidad, Schlumberger Technical Services, Schlumberger Middle East and Schlumberger Overseas in several assignments in South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East. Have traveled the world recruiting young scientists, engineers and managers from over 200 top-notch universities in 137 countries on 6 continents, encouraging young people to pursue rewarding careers in science and technology. Nowadays he can be found enjoying any of his hobbies: reading books from his 1,100-volume library, traveling, scuba diving, running road races, or doing astronomical research - in 2002 he became the first Brazilian scientist to ever discover a comet. In 2012 he became the first Latin American to have visited every country in the world, a feat that had been accomplished only by 72 people in history.
